The Moral Case For Natural Organic Skin Care

Why Natural organic skincare? There are a number of reasons, of course as there always is, in all walks of life, on all topics and in all discussions but one primary function of natural organic skincare has stood out above all others over recent years, when the movement has truly grown in popularity; that, without the presence of chemical ingredients, natural organic skincare is as safe as proverbial houses.

In today’s information age, where news of every potential nasty is ruthlessly exposed to a devouring public through an omnipotent and omnipresent media, this comfort has become increasingly prominent, even sacred; the more we learn about what goes on in our products that shouldn’t, and what doesn’t go that should, the world of natural organic skincare is something of a proverbial safe house, which, as stated, is as safe as proverbial houses.

So that safe haven, the proverbial safe house that is as provberbially safe as houses, has become a real sanctuary for those who are concious of ethics and well being in their beauty products. As Organic Skin Care expert Therese Higgins puts it:

“In order to achieve true healing and protection of the skin, your skin cells must be nourished and stimulated to function properly. When skin cell function is working properly, your body naturally produces collagen and elastins. These are the substances that keep your skin firm and smooth. As we age our ability to produce these substances is diminished…and Skin care products made with synthetic, inorganic chemicals have the potential to harm, instead of help the skin.

If you look at the label of any of the big name face creams and lotions, you will most likely find a long list of synthetic chemicals. Mineral/petroleum oils, alcohols, dioxanes and fragrances are commonly used to create a creamy product that feels and smells good. But these ingredients do nothing to stimulate cell function. In fact, these chemicals can smother and inhibit healthy cell activity. Unlike organic skin care, these products are produced on the cheap, to minimize cost and maximize profit.”

A fine writer summarises a worthwhile cause perfectly; for many, natural organic skincare isa ray of light in otherwise cruel and corrupy world, presenting as it does a slither of honesty to its consumers in a society run by con men, out to earn a quick and decisive profit, instead of providing products or services that benefit its consumers.

It is the increasing marginalisation of these customers that is allowing natural organic skincare brands to really stake their claim in the market; the money men have had their chance, and now, these more honest, small natural organic brands are being given their chance to sign, crusaders for the people, handed the torch by the very people they hope to help, people who have grown dissatisfied with corporate consumerism and shameless gain.

so natural organic has taken up the metaphorical mantle. Will it finally sate the appetite of the masses? That remains to be seen, but on the strength of its current performance, it appears that at last, the people have the beauty products they really want.
