Recently a new patient visited Bright Side and wanted to share her experience. She wrote this letter into the office. Ū wanted to thank you all for all the work that was done on me yesterday. I have had trouble with my #7 tooth for five years. First there was a little cavity, and then it was a root canal, then bonding, then two crowns.
Åast February the crownÃÔ post was loose. I could push it back and forth with my bottom teeth. I knew it would fail and break soon. I had to get an implant and be done with this toothÃÔ problems once and for all. But where to go? I have tried so many Dentists over the past 9 years and still cannot find one that ÅÈets me and how I want my teeth to look.
Ū got two different opinions, none of which reassured me it was going to be ok. Depressed and with no hope in sight I laid on the couch with tears in my eyes. Then an ad for Bright Side Dental came on TV. My husband said, Ÿhy donÃÕ you try them? I said, Å®ay as well. What have I got to lose but more time and tears?
Å´o I called the next day to make an appointment at the Livonia office. I work in Livonia so I made the appointment there. I saw a Dr. Johnson. He was a happy person and I took to his bedside manner like a duck on water. I immediately liked him. He reassured me I will get my beautiful smile back. He told me about Dr. Young and I was made an appointment to see him at the Sterling Heights office. I havenÃÕ seen Dr. Johnson since that day. I would like to thank him also. If it wasnÃÕ for him, I would not have continued the path he led to meet Dr. Young.
Ÿhen I saw Dr. Young and his daughter I was so relieved that they understood all my fears about the shape of my #7 tooth. After all, the dentists I have seen before have always made my incisors crooked. This is not the way my teeth are but no one would ever listen or care. Dr. Young did care and he assured me he would do everything he could to give me back my smile. My implant procedure was a great success. I have healed perfectly and he is very pleased with my efforts to stay healthy and take care of it.
Ū want to also thank Dr. Grytzelius, who was in charge of my flipper. He also took very good care of me. When I came back for the flipper, it fit perfectly. My flipperÃÔ tooth was in perfect alignment with my other teeth, #6 and #8. This was the first time this tooth had been straight in 5 years. All was going well until Monday evening. My husband and I were chatting when all of a sudden the tooth on the flipper fell off. I was devastated. I only had two more days until my 3 month check up with Dr. Young at the Livonia office.
Ū called the Livonia office the next morning and they got me in but the Dentist there could not fix the flipper. I ended up trying to keep the flipperÃÔ tooth in place with Fixodent. That didnÃÕ work very well but it got me through the rest of the day. Wednesday morning came and when I drank my tea, I almost swallowed my flipperÃÔ tooth. I then called the Sterling Heights office and left
a message. The girl there called me back a few minutes later and got me in at 11:40am. I couldnÃÕ make the 9:30 she offered. I was so grateful to be able to get in and to see Dr. Young. I did not know what he could do for me. Maybe he could glue a temp in place then schedule me for the post installation. I had no idea what the day would bring.
Ÿhen I saw Dr. Young, it was such a relief to see his kind face. He was so concerned about my dilemma going toothless he made time to install the implant post. Dr Young and his daughter are the best I have ever had the pleasure to have work on my teeth. I am so blessed and sincerely thank them both for their time and kindness to help me get me temp tooth.
Å¥r. Young introduced me to Dr. Neme and said I could get my impression done and a temp tooth installed so I wouldnÃÕ have to go around toothless.
Å´o many dentists who say I need so many things, like braces and mouth reconstruction costing $30,000 to $40,000 dollars. Extravagant procedures because they think they know whatÃÔ best. I hated to going to the dentist in fear of what teeth they would damage.
Ū havenÃÕ had such good care in so many years I cried and thanked God when I drove home yesterday. I had given up on finding kind caring Dentists with a kind and caring staff. You are all the best of the best and I want to give you my deepest and sincere gratitude for taking such good care of yesterday. I am looking forward to come to your office again and seeing all of you again.
