The number of natural organic skincare brands are growing. What was once a niche industry is turning into a fully fledged organic beauty sector. More and more people are more and more interested in the way their skin works, and what harmful ingredients can often be put into our beauty products; organic beauty seems to be taking over, and people now what natural organic skincare, or no skincare at all.

Pai are one of the companies at the front of that organic skincare revolution. Their name, coming from the language of New Zealand s Maori tribe, mean goodness , and they are certified by the soil association. What s more, they got roaring praise from the Observer, one of the more ethical of the UK s newspapers:

Internationally adored line of luxury skincare products, noted for being organic, handmade and boasting beautiful packaging .

A very good Curriculum Vitae indeed, and it is no mistake that they are one of the world s leading natural organic skincare brands

Pai is a Certified Organic and Paraben Free range of skincare products. These beautiful lotions, creams and balms are handmade and hand delivered to Scin Spa in Notting Hill. The packaging is gorgeous but more importantly the products are 100 Natural, smell beautiful and really work (and we know because we use them on our own skin). Our favourite Pai products are the Macadamia and Rose Moisturiser for Dry Skin and the wonderful Bergamot Lip Balm(simple but very effective).

Pai is a handmade British natural skincare line that is preservative free and uses ingredients so fresh that the sell by date is stamped on the bottle. Pai products are made using the highest grade, certified organic ingredients free from artificial colours, fragrances, parabens, petrochemicals and phthalates.

A lot of these chemicals don t just sound nasty. Recent studies have linked them to a host of health problems such as skin irritation, hormone disruption and even cancer. So why do cosmetics companies use them? Because they re cheap, convenient and make the product last longer. Good for their profits maybe, but not so good for you. Pai are committed to putting your health first. By keeping the products natural and preservative free, they like to think they re saving your skin.

Pai, then, are natural organic skincare powerhouses, and their presence in the industry cannot be ignored. And ignored they are not, as their appearence in the Scin Boutique natural skincare roster. In terms of the growth towards natural organic skincare, the inclusion of Pai in the natural organic skincare canon is a valid one indeed.

What is clear, outside of the indvidual cases of Scin Boutique, the Scin Spa, and Pai, natural organic skincare is growing and growing. Soon it might be possible for it to overtake less natural products and ingredients, and quite rightly; the inclusion of potentially harmful chemicals in natural organic skincare is coming to an end because those who buy beauty are ready to empower themselves and reject these harmful substances.

Truly, the change really can t come soon enough.
