Showroom Kitchens, Macclesfield: Rediscover The Concept Of Storage

One of the distinctive features of new kitchens, Macclesfield, is that they are becoming exceptionally good in terms of storage. Kitchen storage is almost always one of the banes for most people, regardless of the size, shape or uses which your kitchen experiences.

You may have a small, compact galley style kitchen, or a kitchen which roughly resembles a spacious barn - it makes no difference. Storage is still a problem. Perhaps your kitchen used to be all right, but rather rapidly items seem to have accumulated heaps of gadgets and items which have nowhere to hide, resulting in a marked decrease in the amount of work surface available, and often with bags, boxes and containers stuffed unceremoniously in corners, on top of the microwave and even perched on top of kitchen cupboards.

Yet in spite of having almost everything seemingly out on display, the moment you actually need anything it's almost certainly impossible to find until you catch sight of it wedged firmly in the darkest corner of a cupboard resulting in you either having to blindly feel your hand past the food blender components and cheese grater, with the distinct possibility of leaving some hand behind, or emptying the majority of the cupboard in order to reach the offending item.

The contents is then generally shoved back in any way possible, immediately decreasing the amount of usable space in a single stroke. Why is it, then, that kitchens, Macclesfield, are benefitting from an improvement in terms of storage?

Is it that perhaps kitchens, Macclesfield, are benefitting from a fairly significant extension, perhaps roughly equal to the size of an Olympic swimming pool? The answer is, in fact, that one of the biggest suppliers of kitchens, Manchester, has recently expanded, opening a new kitchen showroom in Macclesfield which is opening a wealth of possibilities for those fortunate enough to live within a hurled garlic press of Macclesfield.

If your kitchen is a few years old you may already be more than familiar with the concept of lack of space, and may even suspect that there's a growing pile of bits of hand accumulating between the blender and the cheese grater. It might be a novel way to lose weight, but clearly it's not a winning solution.

But taking a little time to explore the new innovations and designs of the showroom kitchens, Macclesfield, will reveal the fact that in the last few years there has been something of a quiet revolution taking place as far as kitchen storage is concerned.

Kitchen designers have caught on to the fact that we don't all own kitchens the same size as those splashed over the pages of glossy interior design magazines, and that many of us have to juggle kids, pets and a lack of time with a working kitchen and insufficient space.

It's for this reason that a number of storage solutions have been developed which could see the end of work surface piles and grated fingers. The fact is that our kitchens aren't actually too small - it's the space that's not being used in the most efficient way possible, and that's where the innovative storage solutions come in.

For example, that dark space you only ever saw clearly when you first moved in or first had your kitchen built, the one that's right in the corner of the room where two units join - you hardly use it, do you? It's inaccessible, dark and inconvenient. Yet it represents a huge area of space.

If you take a look at some of the showroom kitchens, Macclesfield, you'll see several ways in which that space can be used, such as corner cabinets, carousel cabinets and cabinets which slide right out into the room.

Other ideas such as floor to ceiling slim line cabinets such as those you see at the pharmacy are also on display, taking advantage of the one thing few kitchens normally do - height.

Many kitchen cupboards are built in such a way that you can't stack two items on top of each other, and waste around a third of the space available because of this. With cabinets that incorporate adjustable shelving, interior door shelving or pockets, and a wide range of other innovative storage solutions you'll suddenly realise that you can visualise a whole heap of hidden places within your own kitchen that could easily be used to help solve your kitchen storage problems.

By taking a look at a few example kitchens, Macclesfield, you could find that the only thing you can't pack away neatly into a hidden space are the kids.
