The classic lace lingerie would typically be present in a woman's lingerie collection. Lace lingerie is one of the ways to add spice and excitement to the bedroom. Baby doll lingerie is short and form fitting on the upper body part (bust area) which leads into a flaring skirt. It can come with matching underwear such as a thong or panty and often with matching robes. Curvaceous women with large hips can wear baby doll lingerie to enhance their figure. When purchasing baby doll lingerie, it is very important to get the right bust size. Some baby doll lingerie are designed with a stretch bodice perfect for pear shaped women.
The chemise is similar to the baby doll in the sense that is form fitting as well as short. However, its style is more suited for women who are slim or with a straight figure.
Bustiers and corsets give a slimming effect because it is fitted and boned on the torso area. Bustiers just provide support with its built-in cups while corsets don't. Bustiers and corsets are sized like a bra with a cup measurement and a round the back measurement. They can be in lace or stretch satin. These two types of lingerie will give that extra lift and slimming effect when worn under your clothes especially a dress.
There are many more types of lingerie. Depending on your taste and preference, you can go from conservative to daring.
