Some bowlers require certain accessories to be in control of the bowling game and parents might buy bowling gloves if a child finds them to be useful while carrying an oversized object that they are unfamiliar with. Some people just use powder to remove moisture from the hands, and cost conscious families might just rely on the built-in fans that are installed on every bowling lane.
Bowlers can budget their fun very easily because bowling alleys rent the lanes by the number of games of bowling that are actually played. A family could spend more time than is needed to finish the game and nobody at the bowling alley will say much about it. If leagues are in session, it might be difficult to find an open lane and families understand this and work their games in around them.
