If you are on a wheelchair, you have to make sure to get cabins that are easily accessible and check if you could go around various areas of the ship like the public rooms through an elevator. Inquire also as to the cruise line's policies when it comes to travelers with a disability. Some cruise lines only allow such if the traveler with a disability is accompanied by an able-bodied companion aboard the ship. You should go for the current and newer cruise ships as they provide more easily accessible cabins by wheelchair.
